Gray Wolf Lodge

The lodge is right across the street from their private beach. The hotel looks good, although our room could use some repairs/upgrades. Overall, the building was in good repair, and looks very nice! The staff were really friendly, and we enjoyed talking to them. I would recommend them for a stay! The price is reasonable, and the private beach is an added bonus! ETA; we are back for a second stay, and are glad that we came back! The staff are wonderful, and the stay is well worth it!

The rooms are updated and clean but whatever cleaner they use is strong, the beds are hard, woke up with a stuff, soar back. But they where clean. The pool is nice, and the hot tub could be hotter and fuller, the water line was pretty low. Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The lake front view is nice, we walked out to the private beach, we didn't bring mosquito spray or we would of stayed longer, there is a couple of areas to grill out if someone wanted to. The kids had fun looking for shells. Location is nice, less then 2 miles from main street. Overall it's a decent place to stay with the kids for an overnight stay

I recently stayed here for "spring break" with my granddaughter and a couple of her friends. even though there was snow on the ground, it was just toasty enough in the pool house. they booked me in a room close to the pool!! the room was clean. I am a former trained housekeeper so I know what to look for. The host I had interactions with was super friendly and courteous!! We will stay again!

The beach across the street was great. The bed in my room was not very comfortable. Rooms were clean but could use some updates.

Room was large and we had plenty of room. Amenities a little worn but worked fine for our beach vacation and we were close to everything!!

The rooms were pretty and clean. The bedding and towels were in great condition. The staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here when passing through town for the past 3 years. My original stay was based on convenience of location and the fact they allowed dogs but now we purposefully make this our stop. The location is fantastic and being able to walk the beach in the morning is amazing. The price is aways affordable and like I said, they allow dogs! The staff is also a huge part of why I stay. They are very helpful and friendly even when you show up in the middle of the night. As others have said, the rooms can feel old and tired but I have seen them making improvements every year. It’s an old roadside lodge and they are putting in the work to bring it up to modern standards. I am rooting for the team running it and ill keep staying cause I just dig the whole vibe.

Great spot for a quick one night stay at a reasonable price. pet friendly, small room with view of the parking lot was fine for our short stay. the water in the bathroom kinda smells like sulphur, but other than that our room was fine/odor-free and bed was comfy with new, clean bedding.
